The event - Brooksday 2016 - the marathon event where people honor the late Gwendolyn Brooks who was our voice for so many years. Sandra Jackson-Opoku will be reading along with many others, including her co-editor of Revise the Psalm, Work Celebrating the Writings of Gwendolyn Brooks, Quraysh Ali Lansana.

The admission price - FREE! Time: 10 am to 6pm.
